KATHMANDU: Reporters Club Nepal, one of the oldest media club in Nepal, is celebrating its 15th anniversary on Saturday.
During this one and half decade the club has dedicated itself to the preservation of democracy, press freedom and human rights, Club’s founder President Rishi Dhamala said.
Dhamala elaborated that the Club has always actively advocated for preserving democratic rights of the Nepalese people and pledged that it will continue its strife in the days ahead.
In todays’ special function to be organized at the Hotel Radisson, political party leaders, bureaucrats, diplomats from various diplomatic mission will be participating in the event.
Dhamala said that today’s program will also center on urging political party leaders to express their commitment on holding CA elections.
Chairman of the Interim Election Cabinet Khilaraj Regmi will be attending the program as the Chief guest.
