‘CCTV should be installed in CA polls’
KATHMANDU: As an example of sheer mistrust among Nepal’s political parties, Chairman of CPN (UML) Jhala Nath Khanal has reiterated that CCTV should installed in the upcoming CA polls to ensure free and fair elections.
He said the upcoming CA polls should be made an an exemplary one in terms of its neutrality and fairness.
Khanal’s such statement comes at a time when the major political parties were harboring mistrust to the UCPN (Maoist)’s activities for free and fair elections.
Khanal also said that the UML is in favor of holding the CA elections sooner than later .
He was addressing an interaction program organised by party’s journalists association–Press Chautari– in the Capital on Sunday.
