Nepali domestic worker stabbed to death in Iraq



KATHMANDU: A Nepali migrant woman worker has been stabbed to death in Iraq. Iraq is banned for Nepali workers citing insecurity.
Sunita Tamang of Tipling VDC-6 in Dhading district, who was serving as a domestic worker in Iraq was stabbed by her ‘mentally retarded’ owner on March 28.

Sunita was working in a house of an Iraqi at Jadiraya near Baghdad, the capital town of Iraq.

Sunita, 23, was working in Iraq for over two years.  Her body has been kept in a local hospital and diplomatic channels were working to bring the body to Nepal, it is learnt.
