NC’s Mahasamiti begins today in Nawalparasi

NAWALPARASI: The Mahasamiti Meeting of the Nepal’s grand old party Nepali Congress (NC) is all set to begin today in a western district of Nawalparasi where Nepal has a boarder issue with India for long.

Political pundits and analysts have viewed the NC leaders’ jamboree with both hope and a fiasco.

NC leaders and sympathizers have eyed to the conclave claiming that it would bring something new to bury the hatchet in the party and unite all the leaders and cadres to make them prepared for upcoming CA elections.

NC President Sushil Koirala and other top NC leaders have reached the site, Tribenidham in the district including some 1400 plus NC cadres.

The meeting is expected to allocate responsibilities to the party leaders for upcoming CA polls as well party’s official bottom line regarding federalism and state restructuring.
