Nepal’s Interim Election Council Chief seeks parties’ support for polls
CHITWAN: Chairman of Nepal’s Interim Election Council Khil Raj Regmi has asked for help from political parties irrespective of their political thoughts and ideologies to make the upcoming CA polls a success.
However, UCPN (Maoist) and some political parties have been slamming the Regmi-led government for not announcing the CA polls.
Inaugurating the second national jamboree of Nepal Scouts in Chitwan today, Regmi said he has hoped that the political parties would fully concentrate on elections-oriented activities.
