Fresh CA polls in November, says UML leader Nepal

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that fresh CA polls could be conducted in November only if all major political parties were ready.

Leader Nepal said the peace process has been concluded but the constitution writing is yet to be completed and asked all parties to duly focus on CA polls, he said at a program at the party headquarters in Balkhu.

At a time when many other parties and analysts are claiming UML’s poor performance in the Madhes, leader Nepal said the UML has kept the Madhes in centre and was positive to ensure the rights of the marginalized communities.

He also directed the party leaders and cadres to launch campaigns targeting the CA polls.
