Prachanda announces to lead the nation by taking responsibility

KATHMANDU: UCPN (Maoist)’s Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda who returned home from a week long trip to China last night today said that his party would lead the nation by taking responsibility of the country like that did Shah dynasty for two hundred and forty years.

Addressing the party’s student wing’s leaders just ahead of the Free Students’ Union (FSU) elections in Tribhuvan University this morning in Thankot, Dahal said the UCPN (Maoist) as an establishment force in the country would lead the nation by uniting all communities.

He also said that Nepal would be made a prosperous nation by taking support from both China and India.

On the occasion, he had briefed the party cadres and students about his China trip and meetings with the Chinese leaders.

Addressing the students’ meeting, Prachanda directed the students to bag two thirds majority in the FSU elections. The Tribhuvan University is conducting the FSU elections next months.
