Prachanda urges NRNs in India to support CA election bid
RISHI DHAMALA (New Delhi): UCPN Maoist Chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal has urged non residential Nepalese residing in India to support in creating conducive environment for holding CA elections in November.
Stating that the Nepal will hold CA elections in November at any cost, he said that the incumbent government is committed to it, while addressing a meeting of NRNs affiliated to his party here.
Responding to queries about the recent friction made by some dissenting parties against the CA elections, Dahal said that all political parties in Nepal were ready for the CA elections and said that the CA elections will be held through the participation of all parties.
He said that the Indian government and political parties were committed to assist Nepal in holding CA elections, and institutionalizing stability and peace in Nepal.
Dahal claimed that Nepal’s development has been and will be his major agenda for discussion with Indian leaders and officials.
Later Dahal visited India’s Information and Technology facility in New Delhi and power supply management grid.
