KANCHANPUR: Nepali Congress senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that  dissenting 33 political parties including the CPN-Maoist will also participate in the upcoming CA polls.

At a press meet organised by Nepal Press Union, Kanchanpur today, Deuba said  the CA elections would be held with the participation of all parties as the country has no other option to conduct the polls to end the present deadlock and draft the new constitution.

He also claimed that constitution would be promulgated only if the Nepali Congress wins a clear majority in the election.

Giving a sense of election campaign, the three times prime minister said the Seti and Mahakali zones would develop faster if a single province was formed by merging them. The province could be richer by selling electricity in the country as there are many rivers and rivulets, which could generate 34 per cent of the country’s total powers.

In the erstwhile CA, leader Deuba had won the elections from Kanchanpur Constituency No. 4 and Dadeldhura district but later he quit Kanchanpur constituency for by-elections.
