Maharajgunj area is unlucky for Sushil

Sushil Koirala

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala who has been labelled as an uncompromising leader from both inside and outside the party has decided to quit his present residence in Maharajgunj terming the home ‘unlucky’.

Koirala is planning to shift somewhere else soon based on his coteries’ suggestions. Koirala was residing in Maharajgunj by paying Rs 50,000 rent per month after the demise of NC’s former President Girija Prasad Koirala.

Prior to shifting Maharajgunj, Koirala was residing in Buddhanagar at his relative’s house.

Similarly, Koirala also booted his assistant Laxman Dhakal as the latter didnot cooperate with Koirala in formation of party’s departments and opted to chose the Deuba camp in the party, sources claimed.
