At least 7 killed in Surkhet bus accident

KATHMANDU: At least seven passengers were killed and dozen other injured after a bus met with an accident at Nepa VDC-8 in Dailekh district along the Karnali Highway today.

The deceased are not identified yet.

The bus  (Na 3 Kha 4738) was heading to Surkhet. The accident took place after the bus fell some 200 meters in Karnali River at Siyala, police said.

Currently, locals and police personnel are carrying out the rescue to the injured.
