OCE to publish SLC result 2069 today

KATHMANDU: The Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE) is scheduled to publish the results of School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examinations today.

A meeting of the SLC examinations board is underway to take a formal decision to publish the results.

The exams were conducted in March this year, in which a total of 456,719 examinees had appeared. About 412,592 examinees were regular and 44,127 exempted.

This year onwards the OCE is not publishing the results in newspapers. Instead the parents and students can view the results on different websites including www.moe.gov.np, www.doe.gov.np, www.soce.gov.np and www.slc.tnc.np, among some others after entering their symbol numbers on the sites.

Last year, the OCE had published SLC result on June 13. This year’s SLC exams were conducted from March 14 -22.

Altogether 547,165 students had taken their exams. The first SLC exams were held in 1934.
