Prachanda reiterates rhetoric of two-thirds majority seats in upcoming CA polls

CHITWAN: UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has reiterated that his party would get two-thirds majority in the upcoming CA election.

Inaugurating the Fourth National Convention of the All Nepal Teachers Association in Chitwan on Saturday he said that though various conspiracies were plotted not to hold CA election scheduled to be on November 19, no force would be able to disrupt the election.

During the program, Vice-Chairman of the UCPN (Maoist) and former Prime Minister, Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, claimed that the first CA had failed to promulgate constitution due to the plotting by the status quo forces.

Another Vice Chairman Narayan Kaji Shrestha said that his party was committed to addressing the problems faced by the teachers and the education sector.

Party spokesperson Agni Sapkota, politburo member Amik Sherchan, president of All Nepal Independent Students Union Himal Sharma also expressed their views on the occasion.
