NC’s victory is prerequisite for new constitution, NC leaders

CHITWAN: Nepali Congress leader Narahari Acharya has said that NC’s victory was prerequisite for drafting a new constitution through the Constituent Assembly ( CA ).

Speaking at a program organized by Nepal Muslim Association in Chitwan on Tuesday, Acharya said that the UCPN (Maoist) failed to work people though the party stood single largest in the erstwhile CA election.

He also directed the cadres to work actively in favour of democracy.

Likewise,  NC leader Gagan Thapa said that the high-level political committee should be dissolved to create environment conducive for election and bring the agitating parties on board the election.
