HLPC to woo dissenting parties to bring on CA election process
KATHMANDU: A meeting of the High-Level Political Committee (HLPC) held today has urged to one and all to make the November 19 CA elections a success.
The meeting has also decided to continue the talks with the dissenting political parties to bring them on board the election.
As per the decision, the UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Prachanda, Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala and UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal would woo the CPN-Maoist, Madhesi Janadhikar Forum and Federal Socialist Party among others for bringing them in the election.
Unhappy with poll preparations from the side of Election Commission, the top leaders have also decided to take information from the EC regarding the poll preparations.
