Kamal Thapa says his party and CPN-Maoist share same stance on nationality



KATHMANDU: Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal Kamal Thapa has claimed that the second CA election would not be held until the four-party high-level political committee exists.

Speaking at an interaction program at Reporters Club on Saturday, RPP-N Chairman Thapa said environment for election would be prepared after the scrap of the four-party syndicate.

“Dissenting parties could be brought to poll after holding an all-side discussions once the four-party committee was scrapped,” he said.

Club’s Chairman Rishi Dhamala presided over the program.

Chairman Thapa added that the fringe parties were forced to take to the street due to major political parties politics of prohibition.

He also said that CPN-Maoist and RPP-N share similar stance on issues of nationality and four-party syndicate.

“Election is not possible by using force. We also conducted election but that did not happen,” he recalled.
