Former king Gyanendra Shah marks 67th birthday
KATHMANDU: Marking his 67th birthday, the former king Gyanendra Shah has said that the politics of rejection would do no good for the country. “All should practice the politics to suit the soil of the country,” he said at a formal program organized at Nirmal Niwas today.
Politics without conditions is a democratic exercise in a real sense, he added.
A large number of royalists and Shah’s relatives and well wishers were present on the occasion to exchange birthday wish though his wife Komal and daughter in law Himani remained absent.
The former king was of the idea that CA election should be conducted as early as possible to end the country’s political imbroglio.
