No option to CA poll, Deuba says

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba has said the Constituent Assembly (CA) election will held at any cost as the government, Election Commission (EC), and the security bodies are preparing for the same.

At a program in the capital today, the NC leader said the poll opposing party CPN-Maoist has formed a five-member high level talks-team and the major parties, too, were ready to settle the dispute among the parties regarding the election process, therefore, the solution to the current political impasse would be found, soon.

Talking to journalists in a different context, former Prime Minister Deuba said the Indian Minister for External Affairs had said that India was for holding election in the slated time and wished for providing essential support.
