Finance Minister Shankar Koirala presenting full budget today
KATHMANDU: Nepal’s interim election government is unveiling a full budget of the fiscal year 2070/071 BS without putting new programs.
The size of the budget is expected to remain Rs 510 billion.
Finance Minister Shankar Prasad Koirala would read out the budget at 5:30 pm in the Harka Gurung Hall of the National Planning Commission.
The budget would mainly focus on election, it is said.
Likewise, the government is expected to give priority to the projects of national prides.
This year, the government employees’ salary is expected to rise based on inflation as the government employees’ salary has not increased for the last three years.
