Parties & government not complimenting CA election preparations
KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress General Secretary Prakash Man Singh has accused the government and major political parties of not supporting the creation of conducive environment to hold the proposed CA elections in November this year.
Speaking at a program in Lalitpur on Saturday, Singh said that political parties and government are failing to meet the expectations of holding another CA elections due to internal and intra-party conflicts.
He said that the recent comments of senior leaders of major political parties hinted at the lack of confidence in holding CA elections in November also.
Stating that there is no alternative for holding CA elections, Singh urged the government and political parties to move ahead with a joint strategy.
