UCPN (Maoist) begins nationwide election campaign

KATHMANDU: The UCPN (Maoist) has begun its Constituent Assembly (CA) election campaign across the country including the capital city from Tuesday.

As per the campaign, the central committee members would visit the doorsteps of the voters in all constituencies and create environment for polls, inquire information about opponents’ strategy and prepare its own strategies, the party said.

According to party spokesperson Agni Sapkota, the campaign has started in all districts including the valley.

The leaders would visit the party’s well-wishers and constitute publicity teams of youths, Dalit, women fronts at the grassroots levels, he said.
