Nepali Congress leader Pahadi no more

KATHMANDU: The central committee member of the Nepali Congress Gopal Raj Pahadi passed away this morning while undergoing treatment at Kathmandu Medical College, Sinamangal. He was 68.

Pahadi was a patient of the high blood pressure, diabetes and kidney for long.

Currently, Pahadi’s body has been kept at the party central office Sanepa for paying last respects.

The ailing Pahadi was admitted to hospital since second week of July after he returned home from India. He was taken to Delhi, India for the kidney transplantation but it could not be done, it is learnt.

Pahadi was the District Party President of Shankhuwasabha since 2036 to 2052 BS.
