UML’s Gautam confident of Baidya joining CA elections

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Vice Chairman Bam Dev Gautam has expressed confidence that the Mohan Baidya led CPN Maoist will participate in the proposed Constituent Assembly (CA) elections scheduled for November 19 within few days.

Speaking at a press conference organised in the Reporters’ Club in the Capital on Thursday, Gautam expressed his hopes that the disgruntled CPN-Maoist will be ready to join the election within 10 to 15 days.

Gautam reiterated that the CA election will happen in the slated calendar as the people and political parties are ready for the same.

On the occasion, leader Gautam insisted that his party will garner majority votes in the forthcoming election.
