Fire breaks out at Jyoti Bhawan, No casualties reported

KATHMANDU: A massive fire broke out at Jyoti Bhawan in Jamal on Friday morning. The fire erupted from the first floor of the building at around 8 this morning.

Five fire brigades were deployed in the area and and personnel from Armed Police Force, Nepal Army, were deployed for the rescue.

The fire lasted for around 45 minutes during which fire fighters rescued employees in the building. The building houses Hero Honda showroom in the ground floor, Kantipath branch of Nepal Bank Limited and Grand Hospital.

Timely response from the fire brigade department and security personals was able to control the fire in time and averted great loss.
