HLPC rules out consensus with dissenting 33 parties
KATHMANDU: The High Level Political Committee (HLPC) has informed President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav that reaching consensus with the dissending 33 parties is very low.
Leaders of the HLPC affiliated major political parties made such statement during their meeting with the President at the latters’s residence in the capital on Tuesday morning.
They pointed out the dissending parties’ irrevocable condition of deffering CA elections date and dissolving the incumbent government as hindering conditions for reaching consensus.
However, they informed that they were still in discussion with the dissending parties and looked forward to reach consensus for holding the CA elections on the slated date.
