Two influential leaders abandon CPN Maoist

KATHMANDU: Two influential leaders of the CPN Maoist abandoned CPN Maoist on Tuesday.  Central Committee leaders Mahendra Paswan and Dhiraj Patel abandoned the party citing that the party’s policy and action plan has been obscure of lately.

Paswan was Constituent Assembly member from Siraha constituency number 5.

Along with them around 2 hundred members from eight districts have abandoned CPN Maoist.

The long list includes CPN Maoist’s Newa State Committee secretariat member Ghanshyam Prasad Rajat.
Sources claimed that they have plans to open a new party named CPN Maoist (Rebel).
