Court releases Adhikari murder accused

CHITWAN: The District Attorney’s office, Chitwan, released Ram Prasad Adhikari stating that the police lacked sufficient evidence to prosecute him further.

Adhikari is one of the major accused in the 2004 murder of Krishna Prasad Adhikari, a resident of Gorkha district.

Adhikari was arrested from Kathmandu and brought to Chitwan for criminal investigation.

Police had wrapped up the investigation and submitted their report to the Office of the District Government Attorney on Friday.
