India reassures military supply before CA elections
KATHMANDU: India has assured to provide military supply to Nepal before the November 19 Constituent Assembly elections this year.
Indian Foriegn Secretary Sujatha Singh expressed such an assurance to Nepal Army Chief of Army Staff General Gaurav Shamsher JB Rana in New Delhi on Saturday, a press release issued by the Nepal Army said on Saturday.
“She expressed India’s readiness to extend support and assistance required by the Nepali Army,” the statement said adding that “She assured that Indian military support was in the pipeline would be supplied before the upcoming election.”
The statement also said that India is also providing helicopters in grant assistance. Rana had left for India on September 29 and returned home after attending various programs during the visit
