Shot UML leader in critical condition
KATHMANDU: CPN UML leader Mohammun Alam condition remained critical on Sunday also, doctors involved in his treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital said on Sunday.
Alam was shot in head by unidentified gangsters in Parwanipur of Bara district on Friday and was airlifted to Kathmandu on Saturday.
Hospital autorities said that a press meet will be organized soon to brief on Alam’s health condition. Alam has been on mechanical ventilator life support since Friday.
A member of CPN-UML Central Committee, Alam had been fielded by the party as the first-past-the-post candidate from Bara-4 in the November 19 election to Constituent Assembly.
