KATHMANDU: CPN-UML General Secretary Ishwor Pokhrel has said that the Constituent Assembly (CA) to be formed after the elections should ensure new constitution within one year of its formation.
Pokhrel also said that the new CA should own the issues of consensus made by the erstwhile CA.
At a programme organised by Ranibari Milan Kentra and Ranibari Srijanshil Youth Club in the capital on Friday morning, the UML leader said that all issues of the constitution should be finalised even by going to the people if the CA failed to draft the constitution within a year.
