Third Nepal Literary Festival from Friday
Kathmandu:
With an aim to establish Nepali literature in the international market, Third Nepal Literary Festival is going to be held in the capital from October 25 to 28.
Bookworm Foundation in the sponsorship of NCELL is holding the Festival. Bookworm Foundation is dedicated to the promotion of Nepali literature through the means of publication and writing workshops.
According to the organizers, over 100 authors will participate in the festival and more than 40 innovative and interactive sessions will be held. Abhi Subedi, Narayan Wagle, Subin Bhattarai, Sharada Sharma, Ninu Chapagai, Amar Giri and Khagendra Sangraula, among other prominent authors, will be speaking on different sessions of the Festival, while Rajesh Hamal, Bijay Panday, Yug Pathak, Rajesh Hamal, Haribansa Acharya will also be the attractions of the festival.
Nepali literature lovers will also get a chance to interact with seven renowned international writers including Indian Indian authors Prakash Iyer, Shobha Dee, Ravinder Singh, Brithish Novelist Ned Beauman.
According to Foundation Chairman Ajit Baral, seven foreign writers and noted writers from home will be joining the festival which is expected to focus on discussions about various dimensions of Nepali literature.
