Final result under PR system made public



Kathmandu: Nepali Congress has stood first with 2.4 million votes while the CPN-UML is in the second position with 2.2 million votes, according to the final result of the proportional system of the Constituent Assembly election from all 240 constituencies made public by the Election Commission today. The UCPN-Maoist is the third one.
The EC said a total of 9.4 million votes were cast under the proportional election. There are 30 political parties which have gained more than 20,000 votes. Following is the table showcasing number of votes the political parties achieved:
