Chinese, Pakistani ambassadors meet leader Nepal



Kathmandu: Ambassadors from China and Pakistan called on senior leader of the CPN-UML, Madhav Kumar Nepal, at the latter’s residence Koteshwor on Thursday.
At the meetings held separately, both Chinese Ambassador Wu Chuntai and Pakistani Ambassador Arshad Sauad Khosa congratulated leader Nepal for being elected to the Constituent Assembly and wished him success in constitution writing and opening a door to economic development.
Chinese Ambassador Chuntai along with the visiting Chinese delegation Yang Houlan informed leader Nepal about the economic agenda and foreign policy the 18th meeting of the Communist Party of China passed recently.
Similarly, Pakistani Ambassador Khosa said the Pakistan government was ready to further strengthen the two-country relations and wished leader Nepal a success to end the transition.
Following the meetings with the ambassadors, leader Nepal told media persons that CPN-UML would move ahead with consensus and cooperation, and commented that views of some Nepali Congress leaders sensed they were trying to navigate the situation unilaterally.
Similarly, he said as the neighbouring countries wished, his party was for constitution writing through the CA based on consensus and bringing economic prosperity.
