PM Koirala arrives
Kathmandu, May 28. Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has arrived Nepal on today after a three-day official visit to India.
PM Koirala said his India visit was successful in terms of strengthening Nepal’s bi-lateral relations with the southern neighbour and other SAARC countries, while briefing to the media at the Tribhuvan International Airport on today.
PM’s Advisor for External AffairsDr. Dinesh Bhattarai informed that PM Koirala will hold a press briefing about the India visit at the TIA shortly.
A 13-member Nepali delegation led by PM Koirala had left for New Delhi to attend India’s newly elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony, on Monday.
During his visit, PM Koirala held separate meetings with Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, Indian counterpart Modi, Chairman of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Rajnath Singh and Chairperson of Indian National Congress Soniya Gandhi. PM Koirala also met his Pakistani, Sri Lankan and Bhutanese counterparts during the visit.
