Bimal Gharti Magar re-called by Anderlecht Club

Kathmandu, June 08. Nepali football’s youngest national player Bimal Gharti Magar has been invited by the Belgium-based RSC Anderlecht Club for a year long football training at the club’s academy.

Anderlecht (RSCA) is a Belgian professional football club based in Anderlecht in Brussels-the Capital. A couple of months back, Gharti Magar had left for Brussels to participate in a trial at the club.

The club has taken the responsibility of renewing Gharti Magar’s visa in every three months while it will also look after the air fare, food, lodging, insurance and other things required during his stay with the club. As per the agreement, Gharti Magar, however, will be available for the Nepali national team during important matches.

Although Bimal will not be representing the club in official matches according to FIFA Players Transfer Regulation, he will be involved in the training session and will play friendly matches for the club including International Youth Competition being held in July.

Likewise, the Belgian club has invited the Nepali U-16 squad, which made it through for the final stage of qualification for the AFC U-16 Championship, for a 15-day training camp at Hoogstraten, Belgium. The Nepali U-16 squad will be playing friendly matches against the RSC Anderlecht U-16 team.
