CA by-election: Voting underway
Kathmandu, June 22.Voting for the by-election of Constituent Assembly began at Kathmandu Constituency No. 2, Chitwan Constituency No. 4, Bardiya-1 and Kailali-6 at 7:00 am.
The Election Commission has made arrangement of e-voting system in all the four constituencies.
Voters have reached the polling booths from early this morning at Kathmandu-2 to exercise their voting right. Of them, number of women is high.
In Chitwan district, voters have lined up at the polling stations under the Chitwan-4 from early morning.
Chief Election Officer Binod Mohan Acharya, said that voting process has begun at all the polling stations of Chitwan-4 from 7:00 am.
A total of 31 voting centres and 81 polling booths have been fixed in Chitwan-4 and it has 65,299 voters.
In Bardiya district, voting began in Bardiya-1 at 7:00 am.
