Indian External Affairs Minister Swaraj returns,

Kathmandu, :Indian Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj has returned to New Delhi, wrapping her official visit to Nepal this afternoon.

Speaking at a press conference at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Swaraj said her visit was successful. She also offered her prayers at Pashupatinath Temple this morning prior to her departure.

The Indian minister had arrived in the Capital on Friday, leading a high-level delegation to take part in the meeting of Nepal-India Joint Commission. Her visit is considered to be preparatory step for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Nepal visit, scheduled for August 3-4.

During her visit in Kathmandu,she met President Ram Baran Yadav and Prime Minister Sushil Koirala as well as top leaders of major parties.
