Indian PM Modi calls on President Yadav

Kathmandu, August 04.  Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on President Ram Baran Yadav at Sheetal Niwas in the Capital on Monday.

Modi reached Yadav’s official residence in Maharajgunj after performing special puja at Pashupatinath Temple earlier today.

Modi, who arrived on a special aircraft on Sunday morning, addressed the Nepali Parliament in the evening covering a range of subjects from religion to politics, from diplomacy to herbal medicines, and from information technology to infrastructure.

Modi will meet UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli and leaders of Madhesi parties later today. He will fly back to the Indian capital this evening.
