NSU 11th GC has postponed yet again

Kathmandu, September 13. The 11th General Convention of the Nepal Students Union (NSU), the sister wing of the ruling party Nepali Congress, slated to begin from September 14 has been deferred once again.

A meeting of the party office bearers held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on Saturday morning decided to postpone the General Convention citing lack of preparations.

According to  NSU leader Saroj Thapa , next date for the convention would be made public soon.  Thapa further said that the General Convention has postponed due to the insist of organizational leaders.

The NSU has already postponed its convention four times owing to its failure to select representatives due to internal disputes.
