Dahal meets Oli

Kathmandu, November 02.  CPN-UML Chairman and Parliamentary Party Leader KP Sharma Oli and UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal prachanda held discussions on the disputed issues of the Constitution at the residence of Oli on today.

The meeting centered around forging a consensus on the disputed issues including among others restructuring of the state in the new constitution.

Talking to the media persons following the meeting, UML chair Oli said the new constitution would be promulgated in the slated time and  that he found UCPN (Maoist) chair Dahal committed for the same.

The constitution would be drafted on the basis of a consensus and for that purpose parties are holding discussions, Oli added. Discussion was also held about being flexible for the consensus, Oli said. He further said that the UCPN (Maoist) has been found to have become flexible and making efforts on reaching a common understanding.

Similarly, leader Dahal said that the meeting was held in an effort to forge consensus on the disputed issues and the efforts would continue. RSS
