PM‚ Oli discuss statute issues



KATHMANDU, Dec 26.  CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli called on Prime Minister Sushil Koirala at latter’s official residence in Baluwatar today.

The discussions centred on making dialogues regarding the constitution drafting process among the political parties fruitful. Following the meeting, UML chair Oli said the meeting was focused on intensifying discussions among the parties to create trustworthy environment to resolve the disputed issues of the constitution to promulgate it on the slated time.

Chair Oli said that they are flexible to accept propose of the opposition parties if it is right. But they will not accept the proposal if it is against the interests of the people and the nation, he added.

Similarly, the issues related to running of the government affairs, developmental activities, good governance, among others, were discussed.

Responding the queries of the mediapersons about the new government, chair Oli said it would be earlier to talk about the new government.
