Constitution will be promulgated as per people’s wish: Deuba

Jhapa, Feb 15: Former Prime Minister and Senior leader of the Nepali Congress(NC) Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that a new democratic constitution would be promulgated as per the people’s wish.

Speaking to the journalists at Bhadrapur Airport in Jhapa Sunday, Senior Deuba has expressed that initiatives were underway to bring all the parties to a consensus as it was major issue of the day. Responding to a query, he said the new constitution would be promulgated soon.

Deuba clarified that an environment conducive for talks with the alliance led by the UCPN (Maoist) has been created to forge a consensus.
