CHITWAN, March 2: Two more patients, who are undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital, have been confirmed with the swine flu today.
The District Public Health Office, Chitwan, confirmed that out of 14 samples sent to Kathmandu for the lab tests, swine flu was confirmed in the two patients. With this, the number of swine flu patients reached six in the district alone.
Out of sixty samples collected so far in the district for lab tests, six people have been found infected with swine flu.
Now, it´s confirmed that a total of 43 people are caught with swine flu so far in the country.
According to vector controller at the District Public Health Office Ram KC, the two new swine flu patients are one each from Nawalparasi and Gorkha districts are undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital.
