49 swine flu positive cases in Chitwan

CHITWAN: March 16: With new 22 cases, the number of people infected with swine flu disease registered at the Bharaput Hospital has reached 49.

The Hospital said 22 persons including 12 male and 10 female were detected swine flu positive recently.

According to Narahari Sharma, Chitwan District Public Health Officer, the infected are from Chitwan, Nawalparasi, Gorkha, Tanahun, Rupandehi and Parsa districts.The Hospital had sent sputum samples to Kathmandu-based National Public Health Laboratory (NPHL) for tests.
