Cancer camp in Dadeldhura



DADELDHURA, March 18: A free first cancer camp was organised in Dadeldhura today.

As many as 775 people, including 525 women and 250 men, had their health tested in the camp organised by Nepal Cancer Prevention Association Dadeldhura at the Sub-regional Hospital.

Dadeldhura Chairman of the association, Ram Chandra Eir, claimed that it was the first ever camp in the district. Other health related camps were held before as well but it was the first time that the district witnessed a cancer check-up camp.

The visitors discussed uterus and breast cancers at the function attended by cancer expert and Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital doctors including Dr Prabhu Sah, Dr Suresh Maharjan and Dr Krishta Shrestha, among 20 others, said Eir.
