woman dies in Pyuthan explosion

PYUTHAN, March 19: A 65-year-old woman died in a bomb explosion in Okharkot-5 of the district on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Nama Devi Pokharel.

According to Chief District Officer, Ram Bahadur Kurumbang, the incident occurred near her house while she was heading towards a jungle to collect grass for cattle.

He said that she died on the spot. A bomb disposal team from Nepal Army and a team from Nepal Police have taken the site under control and started an investigation.
