3 siblings drown in Karnali river

MUGU, March 30: Three siblings, all under 16, went missing in the Karnali river at Baladi in the district on Saturday afteernoon.

Police said three children of Bali Sarki, a resident of Dhainkot-6, drowned in the river while taking bath.

victims have been identified as Bina, 16, Nanda Kumari, 13, and Kushal, 10.

The incident occurred as Kushal fell into the river accidentally and the two sisters drowned while trying to rescue him.

Security personnel and locals were searching for the missing till Sunday evening.
