Hospital staffer found swine flu in Chitwan


CHITWAN, March 30: A staff member of the Bharatpur Hospital, who was involved in the collection of sample from the suspected swine flu cases, has contracted the deadly influenza virus AH1N1 here in Chitwan district.

The chief of District Public Health Office, Madhusudan Koirala, confirmed that the person has been found out positive for swine flu.So far, the virus has been detected in samples collected from 121 people out of 356 who resorted to the hospital for swine flu tests, according to Koirala.

Results of 82 suspected cases are still awaited.
