Fierce wind and rain lash KTM

KATHMANDU, Apr 4: Fierce winds lashed  Kathmandu Valley on Saturday evening, followed by a brief  rain shower.

According to the Meteorological division, pre monsoon weather is normal at this time of the year. Monsoon begins during the first week of June and continues until mid September.

According to weather reports, bad weather is expected to continue throughout Sunday, and clear up by Monday.

Earlier last week, the whole country was shrouded in rain and thunderstorm, a result of vapour-filled westerly wind from the Arabian Sea.
