CA condoles ex-MPs’ death‚ meet put off till April 13

KATHMANDU, Apr 6: Constituent Assembly (CA) condoled death of its former members of the Parliament Ram Nath Dhakal and Mahendra Yadav, on Monday.

After endorsing the condolence messages, CA Chairman Subas Chandra Nembang put off the meeting till April 13

CPN-UML politburo member Dhakal had succumed to multiple ailements including swine flu, during his treatment at Dhapasi-based Grande International Hospital, on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Assembly also passed a condolence message on death of former Nepali Congress lawmaker Mahendra Yadav.

The former Minister of State for Home Affairs had passed away on March 31.

Though the CA was set to begin putting disputed constitutional issues to vote today, it has been learnt that Nembang had hinted toward defer voting procedure to provide more time to parties for consensus on the disputes.
